Advisor of the Year - 2019-2020 Academic Year

The SCNAVTA Advisor has been instrumental in promoting veterinary technology, demonstrating dedication to the student chapter, motivating and supporting the chapter, and demonstrating good leadership while serving as a role model for students.

The SCNAVTA Advisor of the year is Tiffany Pope, MS, LVT, RALAT from Texas A&M University – Kingsville. Ms. Pope is “consistently involving her students in NAVTA and the veterinary profession; from sending the latest articles and participating in community events to simply encouraging us to be active members in this and other professional organizations.”

Tiffany’s passion and leadership inspires all students to be active and enthusiastic members.” Ms. Pope not only teaches veterinary technology classes but is a graduate student herself. The students in her chapter are amazed at her ability not only to juggle her personal course load but still have the time to oversee the growing Veterinary Technology Club and have creative and educational classes.

Ms. Pope has not only taught her students the skills needed to become credentialed technicians, but has taught them the professionalism and leadership skills needed for their future success.

Congratulations Tiffany Pope, SCNAVTA Advisor of the Year!
