The American Heartworm Society (AHS) seeks a qualified veterinary nurse/technician to serve on its Board of Directors. This board serves as the governing agency for the organization and is comprised of veterinary professionals, academicians and researchers who volunteer their time and expertise in the service of the Society’s educational and research initiatives. Given the vital role played by veterinary nurses in educating the public about heartworm prevention, diagnosis and treatment, the AHS has elected to expand its leadership to include a veterinary nurse position.
