The objectives for this class will cover basic Roentgen signs of the heart, pulmonary blood vessels and mediastinum, identifying normal appearance of the heart chambers, causes and appearances for acquired and congenital abnormalities of the heart, and the appearance of heart failure. Normal appearance of structures within the thoracic mediastinum, and specific signs of common abnormalities that affect structures within the mediastinum including the trachea, lymph nodes and thymus. Cases that reinforce this information will be given, as well as cases on various abdominal disorders and helpful methods to make an appropriate diagnosis
