|Dan Swenson, CVT|
Dan Swenson started working in small animal practice in 2003 and graduated from the Utah Career College in 2004. After graduation he moved to Boise where he worked at a Specialty Veterinary Surgical Center, and in 2009 he accepted a position as the Clinical Coordinator for the Brown Mackie College in Boise. He was responsible for setting up the teaching hospital, taught several classes and was responsible for coordinating externships for students who had completed their course work.
Dan started attending Argosy University and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts. He then became the Program Director for the Veterinary Technician Program at the Brown Mackie College in Boise in 2014. Dan is an active member of the Idaho Society of Veterinary Technicians and Assistants (ISVTA) and has been on the NAVTA Board since 2012. He enjoys helping the profession grow and wants Veterinary Technicians to receive the recognition they deserve. In his free time he enjoys riding ATV’s with his wife and kids, cycling, running and competing in triathlons.
