Last Call for Case Report Submission
Monday, October 5, 2015
The NAVC/NAVTA Case Report Submission deadline has been extended to 10/20/15! Veterinary technicians are asked to submit their interesting cases for consideration and selection to present at the NAVC Conference in Orlando Fl January 16, 2016. Last year, 18 cases were submitted and 9 were chosen to present at NAVC.
Each technician will be allowed 15 minutes to present their case with an additional 5 minutes allotted for questions from the audience and judges, followed by an oral critique from each judge. Criteria for evaluation of the case report presentation include quality, case quality, the ability to present the case within the allowed timeframe, and the ability to answer questions.
The winner of the NAVC presentation will receive an all expense paid trip to the PRESENT Symposium at Nags Head, NC. This is an invite only, intimate get away to a large vacation home with some of the top speakers in the veterinary technology speaking circuit. This Symposium is designed for the attendees to get to know each other better, while discussing "topics of the day" that are concerning our profession. In addition, the Symposium will give attendees the opportunity to work on and improve their speaking skills in a fun, 2 day outing.
Case Reports for the 2016 presentation will be due October 20, 2015. For more information, please contact Ed Carlson, CVT, VTS (Nutrition).
