The purpose of this CE Course is to improve in-house small animal veterinary hematology diagnostic skills. A registered veterinary hematology technician with more than 30 years professional experience, and a board-certified veterinary medical oncologist and veterinary clinical pathology trainee will review pertinent and clinically relevant small animal hematology topics based on a combined lecture and microscopy glass slide lab. Proficiency in in-house hematology slide review will considerably improve patient care and efficiency by reducing turn-around time of diagnostic results, it will assist in diagnosis and will benefit monitoring certain disease states.
