Receptionist and Client Services CE Course, Telephone Courtesy and Client Service, is available in on demand format; students may enroll at any time. This 2-week course will utilize content from the customized handbook from the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). Students learn practical skills for handling specific types of callers and polishing telephone etiquette. Topics covered include excellent client service delivery with telephone communications, proper telephone etiquette and techniques, determining client needs via question and answering platform and active listening, handling difficult and emotional situations over the phone, conveying a professional image and attitude over the phone, and determining your own style of communication as well as areas that need improvement.
